In this unit, you are introduced to the concept of cultural heritage and various aspects related to the digitization of heritage assets. In the first lesson, the concept of heritage is explored from a number of different perspectives, and the two heritage sites, which are used as case studies, Choirokoitia in Cyprus and Sandby borg in Sweden, are introduced. In the second lesson, the concept of digitisation is introduced and the potential of using digital technologies to explore various aspects of heritage is examined in more detail.
