Unit 3: Frame & Define

In the previous unit, you have gained many insights into the Discovery stage of the design process. You have learned how to gain insights into the perspectives of users, visitors or, other stakeholders and what problems and opportunities seem to exist. In the Frame an Define stage you will (1) develop and compare several frames and (2) define what the project is about by scoping the design brief. In this unit you will, most of all, learn how to frame and reframe, as it is an essential part of the design thinking methods. Once you have settled on a frame, you can define the project together with your stakeholders.
