After completing this course, the learner will be able to:
• Understand the fundamental principles behind Netnography and how netnographic research can be conducted and presented;
• Apply ethical research principles to netnographic research
• Evaluate the most appropriate data collection approaches for a given research project;
• Develop research questions and strategies for netnographic research projects;
• Develop skill sets for both active and passive approaches to Netnography;
• Apply analytic procedures to netnographic material;
• Apply netnographic approaches to address European challenges from a humanities/heritage perspective
• Understand ways of writing up netnographic research to communicate research to academic and non-academic audiences.
